OREGANO ESSENTIAL OIL

Oregano Essential Oil is obtained from the steam distillation of the leaves of the Oregano tree.

Oregano essential oil is one of the most potent essential oils and has been used for centuries for its antiseptic, cleansing and immune boosting properties. It is also a powerful antioxidant and supports healthy respiratory and digestive functions.

What do you use Oregano essential oil for and how?

Oregano oil is can be used aromatically, topically and internally. Being a robust oil it is recommended to exercise caution and use only a small amount for each application.

When applied topically, it must be diluted with a carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil, almond or olive oil. For those with sensitive skin or for children, dilute and apply to the soles of the feet to support digestion and clear airways. It is particularly useful for my younger children during the cooler months.

Oregano is a powerful cleanser and can be added to homemade cleaning sprays. Again, only use a couple of drops and blend with other oils such as citrus oils like Lemon, Lime or Bergamot or combined with a floral oil like Lavender. These combinations also apply for its use aromatically, in a diffuser.

To help support a healthy immune system, I aim to take 1-2 drops in a veggie cap internally during times of extra stress.

How do you use Oregano essential oil to enhance emotions?

Oregano essential oil is known as the “Oil of Humanity and Non-Attachment” as it helps to clear negativity, remove blocks and eliminate negative attachments.
Use it in a diffuser – but blend it with other oils and use only use 1 drop as it has a very strong aroma.
